It's Almost Always Fiction
in the End

Headed to their second major PPV, a Fall From Grace Eight: Vertigo, Liberty Wrestling put on a full Friday Night Fiction event.

Lots of returns and debuts featured throughout the night, including Kellie Taminson beating Joe Boxer after executive interference from Jeffery Drake and Aarya Ranvir. The Expert beat tough-luck loser Nick Swifkicky, Frost returned to the LWF to just squeak by Surge and Silverback won via count-out against a no-showing Freddy Flash.

The main event was a hellacious back and forth match that saw Lisa Seldon take the LWF World Heavyweight Title away from Nightstryker. This is the first time since early 2004 that anyone other than Nightstryker has held the belt and was the first title change in the third and final iteration of Liberty Wrestling .

Extreme Let Down?

With NoA 6: Extreme Sacrifice (the AOWF's first PPV event since their return in January of this year) concluding just moments ago the AOWF finds itself with a new King 'o Extreme Champion, (after one of the more brutal matches of the evening) but also finds itself airing an event that seemed more like a weekly card then it did the big extravaganza event it was built up to be.

While all of the matches that took place at NoA 6 involved some of the biggest names in the community, there were only four matches during the entire event. And while those four matches were for the most part enjoyable... there were only four matches during the entire event.

Fan reaction will ultimately determine how worthy this event was to be called a PPV, but in the meantime the AOWF will be looking forward to April when they air Fall From Grace 8: Vertigo.

Epic Intercontinental Title Match?

Tonight when Dustin "Thunderwolf" Kelser and "November" Kyle Lee faced off for the AOWF Intercontinental Championship during the IWL's PPV Sunrise 2007, it was to be an epic match between two of the AOWF's top competitors. However, what actually took place was a 10-minute display of mediocre wrestling followed by the crowning of a new AOWF Intercontinental Champion.

Winning the title with his trademark move, the Heroes Ransom, November now becomes the third pupil of deceased AOWF Hall of Famer and Legend Matthew Lee (Misery, the Fatal Charm) to win the coveted title. Joining Shawn Twilight and Jeffery Drake.

November must now prepare for a mandatory Title defense to take place in the Liberty Wrestling Federation in March. His opponent has yet to be named, but considering the bad blood between LWF President Drake and his former stable mate it's more then likely he'll have a capable opponent named for November in the near future.
